Principal's Message

October 18, 2018

Dear Reutter School Families,

As we enter the last week of October, our school will be promoting a drug-free lifestyle through Red Ribbon Week activities.  Sponsored though Mrs. Callaway, our School Counselor, and the Counselor Helpers, there will be a "Spirit Week" to promote daily drug-free concepts.  A list of the "Spirit Week" daily themes has been included in the weekly update.

Next Friday, we will also be highlighting our schools character development program during a school-wide assembly, a targeted, series of character development lessons in the fifth grade, and the continuation of our literacy integration during enrichment period involving a character development theme with the sixth grade.

The PTO will be hosting our annual Harvest Part on Friday, October 26.  This student-centered event allows all of the students to enjoy treats from the PTO while dressed in their costumes (costumes are optional) during an extended recess period.  Students are not permitted to come to school dressed in their costumes.  Additionally, costumes or props that promote violence are prohibited.

There are several attachments included in this week's update.
* Red Ribbon "Spirit Week"
* Trunk or Treat
* Jeepers Creepers
* Substitute Teacher and Custodian Recruitment Day
