Principal's Message

Good Afternoon,

Thank you to all of the parents and guardians of our students who came out to the Annual Back to School Night on Monday evening.  It was a pleasure to meet so many of you this evening.  I hope that you became better acquainted to our school and your child's teachers after visiting.

This week our students practiced our school district's emergency protocols during a fire and lockdown drill.  These drills, conducted in conjunction with the Franklin Twp. Police Department and Office of Emergency Management, were  performed to practice our emergency protocols in case of an emergency situation.  Overall, our students will be participating in at minimum one fire and one emergency drill per month.  Our district works collaboratively with the Township's Public Safety Officials in order to ensure a safe school environment.

I would like to thank our PTO for organizing the Fall Scholastic Book Fair.  It was very nice to see so many of our students selecting new books for their reading pleasure.

Mrs. Rosa, Art Teacher, will be sharing information to all students on Friday morning about the Art Service Learning Project.  Information following the assembly will provide the details of this project.

On Monday, we will have a special assembly for our students covering the topic of internet safety (7:30 and 8:30 assemblies).  Parents are invited to attend this assembly in order to further their knowledge of this topic.  Please contact the Main Office by the end of the day on Friday if your are interested in attending the assembly.

After School Club Advisors are in the process of making their rosters.  Information pertaining to these clubs have been announced to our students and interest forms are available in the main office and cafeteria.

Below are some important upcoming events over the next week:

* Core Value Color Day - Please wear Blue to support September's Core Value - Caring
