Principal's Message

Due to the summer construction of the school’s safety vestibule project, the main office will be relocated to the “new wing” of the school. If you need to visit the school’s main office over the summer months, please park along the fence at the Williamstown Road side of the building and enter through the “new wing entrance”. There will be signs posted in order to guide you to the relocated main office.

In September the Main Office will be repositioned in the school. All visitors will utilize the new, vestibule entrance located at the current “gym entrance” in order to gain entry into the school.

Dear Reutter School Family,

I hope that you have enjoyed this summer and are looking forward to beginning the school year at Caroline L. Reutter School.  For both new and returning students, I have some exciting changes for the upcoming school year.  We have been working hard over the summer break to make the school a pleasant environment for your return.  I have outlined below some of the changes that you will encounter:

· Updated Curriculum for English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Health

· Continuation of the 1:1 “Take-Home” Chromebook initiative for ALL  students (refer to the school’s  website for more details)

· Construction of a “Security Vestibule” and renovations to offices

· Implementation of standards-based grading for sixth grade core academic classes

In closing, I am very excited about all of the changes that took place over the summer and look forward to your  return.  Please feel free to call or email with any questions that you may have regarding the upcoming  2018-2019 academic year.

Educationally Yours,

Mr. Theodore Peters
