Mrs. Rambone’s 5th grade Math class at Caroline L. Reutter School recently welcomed two STEM professionals, Dr. Cassandra Ullrich and Mr. Cameron Rambone, for a question and answer visit. The guests arrived by way of the technology of a video call to inspire students to keep working hard and to teach them how important math is in their profession. The students really enjoyed hearing about the visitors’ experiences in the medical and scientific fields and how math is incorporated in their offices every day. The students were surprised at the very end, discovering that Dr Ullrich and Mr. Rambone were actually former students of the district! ~ Matteo Santo, Fifth Grade Student
