Congratulations to         Mr. John Stagliano for  being selected as the    Caroline L. Reutter School Teacher of the Year!

Mr. Stagliano has been an educator for 29 years, 27 of which have been at the Caroline L. Reutter School.  Currently, Mr. Stagliano teaches fifth and sixth grade English   Language Arts as well as Sixth grade science, social studies, and health classes.

Upon the announcement, Ted Peters, Principal, noted, "Mr. Stagliano is a progressive educator and lifelong learner who provides valuable life-long lessons to his students."  In addition to his teaching duties, Mr. Stagliano also serves as the school's teacher-in-charge, Safety Patrol Advisor and is a member of various district and school committees.  

Through his nomination process, parents commented that "Mr. Stagliano admires the skill of his students as he continues to challenge them to keep striving to do even better than they already are.  His humor, devotion to his classes, and obvious talent make him an excellent candidate for recognition of excellence in teaching!"  Another parent summed up Mr. Stagliano's nomination by saying "He's real with the kids, down to earth, but also a great educator that makes them strive to learn."

Mr. Stagliano holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Trenton State College.
