On September 24 and 25, Reutter School students participated in a "Celebration of Character" assembly. This outside and virtual assembly was coordinated by the school's Character Development Committee to welcome the students back to school for the year, introduce the school's character traits, and to share the school's character development committee promotional initiatives. All students thoroughly enjoyed participating in the assembly, seeing their friends, and participating in a school-wide event all while learning about the school's character development program.

The CLR character development program has been annually awarded as an ADL/No Place for Hate School along with being declared as a CEP State School of Character Honorable Mention.
