Students Become Engaged With Their Learning of FractionsStudents in Mrs. Riggione’s math classes had an engaging math experience while learning about fractions last week.  The students conducted a problem based learning activity where they utilized their knowledge of fractions to create various shapes.  The activity allowed the students to use fractions in a creative and fun way while allowing them to show their understanding, application, and explanation of fraction operations, specifically in adding fractions.
