Franklinville, NJ –The Township of Franklin Board of Education is proud to announce the hiring of Ms. Nicole Inverso, as the new principal of the Main Road School. Ms. Inverso will take over for Mrs. Amy Morley, who has recently accepted the position of Chief School Administrator in the Alloway Township School District.
About Ms. Inverso
Ms. Inverso graduated from Rutgers University in Camden, NJ with a B.A. in Psychology. She holds teaching certifications in Elementary School Teacher in Grades K - 6, Teacher of Students with Disabilities, and Elementary School Teacher with Mathematics Specialization Grades 5 thru 8. In May 2023, Ms. Inverso graduated from Wilmington University where she completed her Masters in School Leadership obtaining her principal and supervisor certifications.
Ms. Inverso has worked in the Township of Franklin Public Schools since 2012. She began her career as a Special Education Teacher, with a focus in math at the Caroline L. Reutter School, where she taught for nine years. While at Caroline L. Reutter School, she served as the Special Education team leader from 2016 until 2021. In addition to the leadership experience at the school level, Ms. Inverso has been a valued member of the district leadership committee since 2019, as well as a member of the Curriculum and Instruction Action Plan Committee, which is a subcommittee for the Strategic Plan: Vision 2026.
In 2021, Ms. Inverso was named the Special Education Instructional Coach for the school district. In this role she worked closely with both the Curriculum Department and the Child Study Team to strengthen communication between school buildings and help support solid instructional practices. Ms. Inverso is a very familiar face around the district and has developed a strong rapport with both staff and students at all three schools. Ms. Inverso will officially begin her duties as principal on November 1, 2023. Welcome Ms. Inverso!
